Making my TV Debut April 20th, 2025 on the hit MeTV show Collector's Call!
I’m so excited to finally share the news that me and my mom’s doll collection will be featured in the April 20th episode of Collector’s Call! Collector’s Call airs on MeTV and showcases unique collections in and outside the Chicagoland area. Each episode has the collector sharing five or six different pieces in their collection. Then, the show’s guest expert will appraise the collection and offer up a trade. Will the collector accept the trade? It’s the collector’s call!
Hosted by TV personality Lisa Whelchel and Executive produced by Mike Schmiedeler, the show has been on the air since 2019. Through the years, they’ve chronicled numerous collections and I can now say ours is one of them. It’s such a fun show to watch and, I gotta say, such a fun show to be a part of, even if it was only for a day!
Season 6 is set to start airing April 6, 2025. My episode is set to air a few weeks later, April 20th, and will be centered around, of course, our doll collection! No spoilers until after the episode, but I think we talked about a nice variety of dolls during the shoot. And anyone who knows my house knows it is a Where’s Waldo of dolls, so even if the dolls we talk about aren’t up everyone’s alley, I’m sure there is plenty of b-roll featuring something for everyone!
